LDSP's coordinate services for people supported. These responsibilities include providing direct support, assuring household activities are completed, budgeting/financial management, completing monthly reviews and mentoring new staff. We change lives by supporting people to live independently and encourage them to be more active and employed in our community. We role model a positive lifestyle while supporting people to give back. We teach new skills such as cooking, cleaning, computers, money management, and hobbies.

This is full time position with benefits. Successful candidate will perform as part of a team utilizing advocacy, respect, and communication when working with people supported to achieve their personal goals as a result of ongoing development, documentation, implementation of their Individual Support Plan. This includes a variety of job duties. Work is typically performed with the people supported in homes and/or the community/agency. Employees may be required to work unconventional schedules as services are provided 24/7, 365 days a year.

Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years old
- Do you have a High School Diploma/GED?
- Must have a driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Must have basic computer skills and keep clear/concise records
- Must complete all required training and pass background check and drug screen
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, be able to walk, bend, squat, turn in the knees, back, wrists and shoulders, and grasp with both hands

Starting Salary: $11.00 per hour with potential for $.25 increase after 6 months of employment (upon completion of orientation, mandatory training) and the potential for an addition $.50 per hour for obtaining Medication Certification. NADSP Registration potential after 6 months of employment, $.25 raise.
